Under the effects tab, drag the effect called Chroma Key onto the video that needs to be green screened. ![]() (4) After doing this a box comes up and I pick a colour the same colour as the Green Screen and click ok but the Green Screen Still Stays Green when I want it to go Transparent and just leave the moving objects on the Jprg Still (3) Then I hit effects to bring out the Chroma Key and drag the Chroma Key effect onto the Video on the Same Track and click Properties (2) Then I am putting a Green Screen Video with moving objects on the top of this on the same Track ![]() (1) I am putting a Still Jpeg Photo on the Top Track I've also watched lots of youtube videos about using the Chroma Key in Open Shot but some of these Experts go so fast with their explanations that I simply cannot follow what they are doing. I am using the latest release of Open Shot 2.4 and running Linux 18. As a Total Newbie, I've been looking for a Simple Video Editor and have fallen in love with Open Shot as I am finding it very easy to use.Īll except for the 'Green Screen' effect which has left me feeling confused, as I know I'm doing something wrong except I really don't know what that is.
